Neverness to Everness Linko is an upcoming S-Rank Anima character who uses Plasma Arcs, arriving in the second half of Version 1.3. Her combat identity centers on Synced Strikes, off-field follow-up attacks, Modulation, and team reactions. She works especially well in Hexed compositions, where her follow-up support and resistance reduction can significantly improve the team's overall damage.

This Linko build guide covers Linko's best builds, skills, gameplay, Arc, Console, Cartridge / Modules, Awakenings and Resonance, team options, banner details, and pull advice.

Building Linko is different from a conventional main DPS. Her most valuable damage comes from Support Skill-triggered Synced Strikes and her Ultimate, while much of her kit continues functioning even when she is off-field.

Linko Kit and Core Mechanic

Linko gameplay revolves around Hit 'Em Here! marks.

While Linko is off-field, Xiaozhen periodically attacks enemies and applies the mark. When a teammate uses a Redirect Skill on a marked target, the mark is consumed and Linko performs a Synced Strike.

Linko can also trigger Synced Strikes through her own Redirect Skill, making the system work as a constant quickswap loop rather than a single burst mechanic.

A simplified rotation is:

Xiaozhen applies mark → teammate triggers mark → Synced Strike → build Modulation → Full-Frequency Pulse → Oversync → repeated Synced Strikes

This is the core concept to understand before investing heavily in Linko.

Linko Skill Priority

The recommended Linko skill priority is:

Support Skill > Ultimate > Basic Attack > Redirect Skill

The Support Skill comes first because Synced Strike damage scales from its level, making it one of her largest overall damage sources.

The Ultimate is next because it opens Linko's main teamwide burst window. Basic Attack follows because her off-field attacks still contribute meaningful damage, while Redirect Skill itself is less important for raw personal damage.

Redirect Skill – Full-Frequency Pulse

Full-Frequency Pulse lets Linko choose a teammate or Xiaozhen to perform a Synced Strike.

The skill consumes accumulated Modulation, with more Modulation increasing the resulting Synced Strike damage. This makes Modulation management important even though Linko does not stay on-field for long periods.

Redirect Skill – Full-Frequency Pulse

Ultimate – Oversync

Oversync creates a Resonance Field and allows Linko to coordinate repeated Synced Strikes with teammates.

During this window, Support Skills can be treated as Synced Strikes, greatly increasing the frequency of follow-up attacks. When Oversync ends, Linko also deals a large Anima burst whose value improves against enemies carrying multiple debuffs.

This is why Linko works best in teams that can rapidly rotate between characters and constantly trigger follow-up effects.

Ultimate – Oversync

Linko Arc

Best Arc – Voice of the Voyager

Voice of the Voyager

Voice of the Voyager is Linko's signature Plasma Arc and her strongest overall choice.

At M1, current data lists:

  • 570 ATK
  • 24% CRIT Rate
  • ATK +24%
  • Support Skill CRIT DMG +66%
  • Support Skill damage grants Ultimate CRIT DMG +22% for 3 seconds
  • Ultimate CRIT DMG effect stacks up to 3 times

This perfectly matches her normal sequence because Support Skill damage prepares her Ultimate burst.

Fluff of Fortitude

Fluff of Fortitude

Strong general/on-field option

Raging Flames

Raging Flames

Good S-Rank alternative

Ready-Ready

Ready-Ready

Useful Crit-focused option

Fluff of Fortitude improves general damage and can be useful if Linko spends more time on-field. Raging Flames offers strong ATK, CRIT DMG, and Redirect/Ultimate bonuses even though Linko cannot fully use its Lakshana-specific effect.

Linko Console

Linko console gives:

CRIT Rate +8% for every Type III Module equipped.

This makes Type III Modules extremely efficient.

Because of this, always check your final CRIT Rate before selecting Cartridge main stats or Module substats. Overcapping CRIT Rate wastes valuable slots that could instead increase CRIT DMG or ATK.

Stats Priority:

CRIT Rate → CRIT DMG → ATK% → Universal DMG Bonus → ATK

Linko Modules

Best Personal DPS – Fireflies and the Forest

 Fireflies and the Forest

The most straightforward Linko Cartridge / Modules setup is 4-piece Fireflies and the Forest.

Its effects are:

2-piece: Anima DMG +10%

4-piece: Whenever a nearby enemy takes Anima damage from the team, Linko gains CRIT DMG +8%, stacking up to seven times for a maximum of 56% CRIT DMG.

The effect remains active while Linko is off-field, which fits her gameplay perfectly.

Support Alternative – Speedy Hedgehog

Speedy Hedgehog

Speedy Hedgehog is a stronger support-oriented option.

2-piece: Charge Efficiency +12%

4-piece: After Linko uses her Ultimate, all allies gain ATK +15% for 20 seconds.

This sacrifices some of Linko's personal damage but helps the entire team and makes Oversync available more frequently.

Linko Awakenings and Resonance

Linko's awakenings provide several meaningful upgrades.

Awakening

Key Effect

A1

Xiaozhen's off-field attack interval reduced by 50%

A2

Oversync finishing burst damage increased

A3

Ghosthand Counter refreshes Full-Frequency Pulse

A4

Synced Strikes inside Resonance Field trigger extra AoE Anima damage

A5

Full-Frequency Pulse Synced Strikes can trigger Cycle effects

A6

Team Synced Strikes gain 25% CRIT Rate and additional energy utility

A4–A6 are the most transformative because they expand Synced Strike from Linko's personal follow-up mechanic into a much stronger team system.

Her Resonance milestones are also significant.

At 3 Awakenings, Support Skill, Redirect Skill, and Ultimate gain one level.

At 6 Awakenings, Resonance Field lasts 12 seconds longer and grants the entire team 15% Anima and Incantation Attribute DMG while active.

For ordinary players, however, A0 already contains her complete core kit.

Best Linko Team

The clearest Linko team is currently:

Zankou

Zankou

Main DPS

Linko

Linko

Synced Strike Sub-DPS / Hexed Support

Sakiri

Sakiri

Damage Support

Iroi

Iroi

Healing / Support

This team works because Linko improves the value of Hexed and follow-up attacks, while Zankou provides the main damage engine. Sakiri increases team damage, and Iroi supplies healing, ATK support, and additional reaction synergy.

Other viable teams currently include:

  • Linko + Nanally + Sakiri + Adler
  • Linko + Iroi + Zero + Hathor
  • Linko + Baicang + Daffodill + Adler

These show that Linko can function outside Zankou teams, although her strongest reason to pull remains Hexed synergy.

Pull Advice: Should You Pull Linko?

The Linko banner, Surfing All Channels!, runs:

September 9 – September 30, 2026, 05:59 UTC+8

She is the new limited S-Rank character for Version 1.3 Phase 2.

Linko is a strong pull if you:

  • Already own Zankou
  • Want to build a Hexed team
  • Need an Anima follow-up Sub-DPS
  • Enjoy quickswap and reaction-focused gameplay
  • Want more off-field damage and RES reduction

Her priority falls if you do not use Hexed, lack a strong main DPS for the archetype, or urgently need a standalone carry instead.

Current pre-release evaluations consistently agree that Zankou owners gain the most from Linko, while accounts with no interest in Hexed can safely treat her as optional.

For investment, a sensible order is:

A0 Linko → Voice of the Voyager → optional Awakenings

A0 already works, while her signature Arc is a clean personal-damage upgrade. Awakenings become more attractive only if you plan to invest heavily in Synced Strike teams.

Final Thoughts

Linko is best understood as a quickswap Anima Sub-DPS and Hexed enabler, not a conventional on-field carry. Her strongest build uses Voice of the Voyager, Fireflies and the Forest, Type III Modules, and CRIT-focused stats while avoiding overcapping CRIT Rate.

Her core gameplay is built around Hit 'Em Here! marks → Synced Strikes → Modulation → Oversync, and her strongest current team pairs her with Zankou.
