Coppélia is a 6-star Mineral Reality Support introduced with Version 3.7 of Reverse: 1999. Unlike conventional Arcanists, she belongs to the new Conduit / Instrument system: she does not use normal basic Incantations or a traditional Ultimate, and Moxie is replaced by Harmonization. Her main job is to supply Mineral Energy, raise Instrument damage, provide powerful teamwide Critical buffs, and contribute burst damage of her own. The Global Version 3.7 update launches on August 13, 2026, and Coppélia herself is available as a free new 6-star character.

This guide covers Coppélia in Reverse: 1999, her Arcane Skills, best build direction, Resonance, Portrait priority, team compositions, gameplay rotation, and pull advice.

OSLink can help players running multiple Reverse: 1999

Building Insight, Resonance, and Psychubes still requires plenty of Dust, Sharpodonty, and repeated resource-stage farming. OSLink can help players running multiple Reverse: 1999 accounts by supporting multi-instance management, synchronized controls, and automated repetitive farming. You can also monitor those sessions remotely from your phone while material stages continue running on the PC.

Insight III

Her Insight mechanics explain most of her value. At Insight I, Moxie is replaced by Harmonization, and she gains Harmonization at the beginning of each round. Whenever an ally activates an Instrument, Coppélia gains one Interval Step for every Energy consumed. Each Interval Step increases Ultimate Might by 1%, up to 30 stacks at P0.

At Insight II, she gains 15% Critical DMG when entering combat. Insight III is the major breakpoint: all allies gain 40% Instrument Might, while Coppélia immediately gains 30 Harmonization.

Coppélia Arcane Skill Breakdown

Understanding the Coppélia's arcane skill system is more important than memorizing a standard two-skill rotation because her Instrument changes what she can cast.

Finger Training

Finger Training costs 2 Mineral Energy, grants Coppélia 10 Harmonization, and deals 480% Reality DMG to one enemy.

Its key mechanic is scaling with Instrument Energy Consumption. For every level of Energy Consumption accumulated during the round, it gains another 120% Reality DMG, up to 20 levels. This means Finger Training becomes much stronger after the team has spent significant Energy.

Vowel Basics

Vowel Basics costs no Mineral Energy and grants Unison to the entire team for three rounds.

At P0, Unison provides:

  • Critical Rate +40%
  • Critical DMG equal to 20% of Coppélia's own Critical DMG
  • Maximum Critical DMG bonus of 48%

This is why Critical DMG is such an important stat when building Coppélia: improving her own Critical DMG also increases the offensive buff she gives the team.

The Solfege Carved On The Body

This is Coppélia's major burst ability. It deals 980% Reality DMG to all enemies, then deals an additional 64% Reality DMG to the primary target for every Interval Step.

After attacking, all Interval Step stacks are consumed, Instrument Energy Consumption increases by four levels, and Coppélia and the ally directly behind her each receive three stacks of Instrument Tuning I. Each Tuning stack reduces the Energy Cost of an Instrument by one when consumed.

This creates the foundation of her strongest damage window.

Coppélia Gameplay

The basic Coppélia gameplay loop is:

Generate Mineral Energy → Keep Unison active → Spend Energy → Build Interval Step → Cast Solfege → Use the cheaper Instrument window → Finger Training

Avoid rushing her large attack with very few Interval Step stacks. The team gains more value when Instrument users spend Energy first, because this simultaneously builds Interval Step and raises the Energy Consumption counter that later strengthens Finger Training.

Her gameplay becomes especially smooth in teams that naturally consume large amounts of Mineral Energy.

Coppélia Best Builds

When building Coppélia, prioritize:

Insight III → Resonance → Critical DMG → Instrument-oriented Psychube investment

Best Psychube

The Silent Anthem is a new 6-star Psychube introduced in Version 3.7 and is the most natural dedicated option to prepare for Coppélia.

Crit-focused alternatives

Temporary choice if needed

A finalized ranking of her alternative Psychubes is not yet available in major build databases, so it is better not to assign speculative second- or third-best options yet.

Coppélia Resonance

The safest stat direction is:

Critical DMG > offensive stats / ATK

Critical DMG deserves special attention because Unison converts a percentage of Coppélia's own Critical DMG into additional team Critical DMG. In other words, it contributes to both her personal damage and her support value.

Best Coppélia Team

Coppélia is much more valuable inside Conduit compositions than in ordinary Moxie teams.

Healing or additional utility

The Twins are particularly Energy-hungry: their Mineral attacks scale with Mineral Energy consumed, while their major burst becomes stronger at higher Energy thresholds. Current analysis specifically identifies Coppélia as an important support for reaching those Energy breakpoints.

The important rule when creating a Coppélia team is not simply adding strong individual characters. The team should contain Arcanists who actually benefit from Instrument Energy, otherwise Coppélia's Energy Cards and Instrument support lose much of their value.

Coppélia Portrait Priority

Coppélia works at P0, but her early Portraits have meaningful Conduit upgrades.

Why P1 Is So Good

At P1, Unison improves from three to four rounds. Critical Rate increases from 40% to 50%, while its Critical DMG conversion rises from 20% to 30% of Coppélia's Critical DMG, with the maximum bonus increasing from 48% to 72%.

P1 also upgrades one Mineral I Energy Card to provide extra Mineral Energy.

P2 further improves her Conduit engine: she gains 20 Harmonization each round, begins combat with 60% Instrument Might for allies and 45 Harmonization, and improves additional Mineral I cards.

For most players, P1 is the practical stopping point. P2 becomes more attractive if you plan to use Conduit as one of your main long-term teams.

Pull Advice: Should You Get Coppélia?

The unusual answer is: you do not need to spend pulls to obtain P0 Coppélia.

Version 3.7 gives Coppélia to players as a free new 6-star character after the update. The anniversary also includes a free selectable 6-star Portrait for an eligible character you already own.

So the real pull advice is about investment rather than obtaining her base copy:

  • Casual players: Take the free P0 and build her if you use Conduit.
  • Players who own The Twins: Coppélia becomes significantly more valuable because she helps supply the Energy their kit demands.
  • Dedicated Conduit players: P1 is an excellent Portrait target due to stronger Unison and improved Energy generation.
  • Players uninterested in Conduit: P0 is enough; save premium resources and Portrait choices for teams you actually play.

Final Thoughts

Coppélia is less about traditional card damage and more about making the entire Instrument system function efficiently. Her strongest qualities are Mineral Energy generation, Instrument Might, Unison's massive Crit support, and the Solfege → Finger Training burst cycle.

For most accounts, the ideal investment is P0/P1, Insight III, a Critical DMG-focused Resonance setup, and The Silent Anthem. Then pair her with an Energy-hungry Conduit DPS such as The Twins.
