Typhoeus is an upcoming 6-star Nature Striker in Arknights: Endfield whose combat style revolves around aerial attacks, Nature Infliction, Signs, and Hunting Arrows. Although her character model uses a large bow, her Typhoeus weapon category is Arts Unit. Her Battle Skill sends her into Hovering, allowing her to attack from the air, generate Signs, convert them into Hunting Arrows, and then cash those resources out for Nature Burst damage.
This Typhoeus build guide covers Typhoeus best builds, weapon choices, gear, Essence, teams, gameplay rotation, and whether she is worth pulling. Since Version 1.5 has not launched yet, some final numerical optimization is still unavailable, so this guide focuses only on mechanics and equipment information that can currently be verified.

If you prefer the PC version of Arknights: Endfield but occasionally need to play away from your desk, OSLink can remotely stream your PC session to your phone. You can continue exploration, clear daily activities, collect resources, and control the PC version directly from your phone without installing another full game client on your phone.

Reliable Nature Infliction |
The most important thing when considering Typhoeus best builds is that she is not fully self-contained. Her aerial attacks become much more efficient when enemies already have Nature Infliction, making team construction just as important as her personal equipment.

Typhoeus Gameplay and Core Mechanics
Typhoeus gameplay revolves around a simple resource loop:
Nature Infliction → Signs → Hunting Arrows → Nature Burst DMG
Her Battle Skill, Piercing Arrows of the Woods, puts her into Hovering and allows up to five Aerial Basic Attacks. These attacks can consume Nature Infliction to generate Signs, or consume Hunting Arrows to deal extra Nature Burst DMG.

Once Typhoeus reaches maximum Signs, she can use Rampant Thorns. This Combo Skill converts Signs into Hunting Arrows, creates a Barrage Array, Slows enemies, and increases the Nature Burst DMG they receive. Because of this, Rampant Thorns should usually be used before spending Hunting Arrows.

Her Ultimate, Call of Ice Mountain, deals large AoE Nature DMG and immediately puts Typhoeus back into Hovering. Her next five Aerial Basic Attacks also trigger additional Hail of Arrows, extending her AoE burst window.

A practical rotation is:
Apply Nature Infliction → Battle Skill → Aerial Attacks → build Signs → Rampant Thorns → spend Hunting Arrows → Ultimate → enhanced Aerial Attacks
The key is to apply Nature Infliction before Typhoeus starts attacking and use Rampant Thorns before her main Nature Burst sequence.
Typhoeus Weapon
Best Weapon – Umbra of Frigid Eventide
Typhoeus's signature 6-star Arts Unit is Umbra of Frigid Eventide.

Strong alternative[1] |
Current Version 1.5 preview information shows Umbra of Frigid Eventide with Agility Boost, Attack Boost, and Detonate, all of which line up naturally with Typhoeus's offensive kit.
Suffering's End is another 6-star Arts Unit shown in the Version 1.5 weapon lineup. It carries Agility Boost, Nature DMG Boost, and Detonate, making it the clearest alternative currently revealed for players who do not obtain her signature.
Because Typhoeus is unusual among Arts Unit users in leaning toward Agility, her signature weapon may be more valuable than a typical signature.
Typhoeus Gear
When building her early onTyphoeus's recommended endgame setup uses three Deep Rampart pieces with LYNX Slab as the off-piece. Deep Rampart is especially well suited to her because its set effect directly rewards repeated Nature Burst triggers, which are a major part of her Hunting Arrow and Power Shot gameplay.

Armor |
Deep Rampart Armor
|
High Agility with additional Arts Intensity, giving Typhoeus strong core offensive stats. |
|
Gloves |
Deep Rampart Gauntlets
|
Provides Agility and a large amount of Arts Intensity, further improving her Nature Burst damage. |
|
Kit 1 |
Deep Rampart Comms
|
Adds more Agility and Arts Intensity while completing the 3-piece Deep Rampart set. |
|
Kit 2 |
LYNX Slab
|
Used as the off-piece for its valuable Main Attribute bonus, increasing Typhoeus's overall Agility scaling. |
Deep Rampart Set Effect
With three Deep Rampart pieces equipped, Typhoeus gains:
- Arts DMG Dealt +16%
- After applying Nature Burst or Cryo Burst, Arts Intensity +16 for 20 seconds
- The Arts Intensity effect can stack up to 3 times
At maximum stacks, this provides another 48 Arts Intensity.
This effect is particularly easy for Typhoeus to maintain because her Hunting Arrow-enhanced Power Shots repeatedly trigger Nature Burst during Hovering. She does not need to interrupt her normal rotation just to activate the set bonus.
The three Deep Rampart pieces also provide large amounts of Agility and Arts Intensity, both of which directly support her main DPS role. LYNX Slab then fills the remaining Kit slot to further improve her Main Attribute without requiring a fourth Deep Rampart piece.
For Typhoeus gear, the general priority is:
Agility → Arts Intensity → offensive damage bonuses
Overall, Deep Rampart Armor + Deep Rampart Gauntlets + Deep Rampart Comms + LYNX Slab is the recommended setup for maximizing Typhoeus's Nature Burst-focused damage.
Best Typhoeus Team
The core requirement of every good Typhoeus team is simple:
Someone needs to apply Nature Infliction before Typhoeus begins her aerial sequence.

This lineup was among the Nature-focused combinations shown around the Version 1.5 preview. Arcane is especially valuable because she can provide the Nature Infliction Typhoeus needs for faster Sign generation, while Liino and Ardelia cover additional support and sustain.

Support |
Fluorite can handle the key Nature Infliction requirement, while Gilberta is useful when enemies are spread out because grouping targets allows Typhoeus's Barrage Array and AoE aerial attacks to connect more consistently.
When choosing a Typhoeus team, prioritize Nature application first, then buffs, grouping, and sustain. A strong generic support that cannot help her build Signs may contribute less than a weaker unit that reliably enables her core loop.
Should You Pull Typhoeus?
Whether you should pull Typhoeus largely depends on your Nature roster.
Typhoeus looks particularly attractive if:
- You need a dedicated Nature main DPS.
- You already own Arcane or another reliable Nature Infliction character.
- You want strong AoE and multi-target pressure.
- You like aerial, combo-oriented gameplay.
- You already plan to invest in a Nature team.
Her ability to Hover also gives her a distinctive defensive advantage against many ground-based attacks while maintaining offensive pressure.
The more cautious Typhoeus pull advice is to wait for post-release testing if your resources are limited. Her exact damage ceiling, final Gear BiS, Potential value, and the real gap between her signature weapon and alternatives have not yet been fully calculated.
If you have no Nature Infliction enabler, her pull value also falls because her Sign generation becomes slower.

Final Thoughts
Typhoeus is shaping up to be a distinctive Nature DPS whose strength comes from managing Nature Infliction, Hovering, Signs, Hunting Arrows, and a carefully timed Nature Burst window. Her signature Umbra of Frigid Eventide is the clearest Typhoeus weapon choice, while her Essence should match the weapon's Agility/Attack/Detonate lines. Gear recommendations are still developing, so avoid overcommitting before Version 1.5 testing is complete.
For teams, build around a reliable Nature Infliction provider such as Arcane or Fluorite, then use Rampant Thorns before unloading Hunting Arrow-enhanced aerial attacks.

And if you normally play Arknights: Endfield on PC, OSLink lets you remotely access that PC version from your phone, making it easier to collect resources, clear routine content, or continue exploration when you are away from your desk without installing the full game on your phone.
