Mecharashi Beginner Guide

Understanding STs

Strategic Tanks (STs) are the giant mechs you control in Mecharashi. Each ST has three customizable parts, Body, Arms, and Legs, that you can upgrade. You can also equip weapons to these parts to deal damage in battles.

Understanding STs

STs are the core combat units in Mecharashi and are categorized into three types:

  • Light STs: Compact, with high agility, mobility, and evasion. They can equip mobility backpacks or jetpacks but are fragile and easier to destroy.

  • Medium STs: Well-balanced in speed, strength, and defense. They can equip tactical weapons and armor supply backpacks.

  • Heavy STs: Bulky with high HP and defense, capable of equipping large shields and inducer backpacks, to reduce damage from tactical weapons. They are slow but durable, ideal for missions with heavy combat missions.

Customization of STs: Customization: Personalize your STs, weapons, and backpacks with a variety of colors and emblems earned through gameplay or special events. This lets you show off your unique style to other players!

Pilots and Their Roles

Pilots control and combine with different STs to battle enemy mechs. They are divided into six classes based on their roles:

Pilots and Their Roles

  • Fighters: The specialists in melee close combat, excelling at destroying enemy parts to gain extra actions. Strong in PvE, arena, and PvP but weak against solo bosses with few parts to destroy.

  • Raiders: Use link attacks to deal additional damage when in range of a target. Some can perform up to four link attacks per turn, making them powerful for PvE and boss fights

  • Snipers: Long-range specialists (up to four tiles) who can target specific parts but cannot counterattack in close combat. Losing an arm reduces accuracy, so protect them in melee-heavy missions.

  • Tacticians: Wield long-range tactical weapons with no counterattack risk, capable of hitting multiple targets and Ideal for crowd control. They can be tied to heavy STs only.

  • Guardians (Tanks): Protect the team by absorbing incoming attacks. Not all can block melee attacks, so check their skills before deployment.

  • Mechanists: Support the team by boosting damage, healing HP, or repairing ST parts, making them vital for team success.

Summoning Top STs and Pilots

You can unlock new Strategic Tanks (STs) and Pilots through a gacha system using special banners. These units are ranked based on their strength, with S-rank STs and Pilots being the most powerful for dominating battles. Top pilots like Frida, Shawnee, and Melissa stand out as the best, helping you win fights more easily.

Summoning Top STs and Pilots

To summon them, you need Recruit Vouchers, which are rare and hard to earn. The chance of getting high-rank S-tier Pilots or STs from banners is low due to the lower drop rates, making them tough to acquire.

Want to increase your chances of getting powerful pilots and STs? OSLink makes rerolling easier by letting you run multiple accounts on your PC at once. With its Synchronizer and auto tools, you can farm early-game rewards across all accounts simultaneously, then pick the one with the top tier Mecharashi pilots. It’s an efficient way to start strong without the grind.

Building Your Mech Team

Now that you understand Strategic Tanks (STs) and Pilots, you’re ready to build a powerful team of five STs, each paired with a Pilot, to dominate battles.

Building Your Mech Team

Here’s what to focus on when creating your team:

  • Team Composition: Build a balanced team. Include one Guardian to tank damage and protect your squad, and one Mechanist to restore HP or repair ST parts for longer battles. Fill the rest of your team with damage dealers like Fighters, Raiders, or Snipers, depending on the enemies you’re facing.

  • Use High-Rank Units: Always equip your highest-rarity Pilots and STs. These give you a big advantage in battles, making fights easier to win in Mecharashi gameplay.

  • Upgrade Your Team: Keep upgrading your Pilots to boost their skills and make them stronger. Also, upgrade your STs to improve their weapons, giving you an edge in tougher fights.

Combat Mechanics in Mecharashi

Where you place your units on the grid, using Action Points (AP), and aiming for enemy weak spots makes a big difference. Every decision matters! Here’s how the combat system works with tips and tricks:

Grid-Based Movement

Battles take place on a grid where you move your units across tiles. Smart positioning is key to beating your enemies.

Grid-Based Movement

For example,

  • Place Snipers like Dana far from enemies to attack safely from a distance.

  • Move Fighters or Raiders like Catherine, Hong, or Rosa closer to enemies to deal powerful attacks and make your team more effective.

Turn- Based Structure

Battles are turn-based, alternating between your turn and the enemy's turn.

Turn- Based Structure

Body Part Damage System

ST units consist of multiple body parts, including the Body, Arms, and Legs, each with separate HP amounts and distinct functions when damaged:

Body Part Damage System

  • Body: This is the core part of the unit. Destroying it defeats the unit, but it has the highest amount of HP.

  • Arms: Damage to the arms renders the unit's mounted weapons unusable.

  • Legs: Attacking the legs reduces the unit's movement and dodge capabilities.

When dealing with sniper shots aimed at specific body parts, prioritize targeting the arms first. This disarms their weapons, preventing them from dealing significant damage on their next turn.

Different Attacks

Each unit has specialized attacks like:

Different Attacks

  • Units like Fighters and Guardians use shotgun attacks, hit multiple body parts at once.

  • Snipers use sniper shots, allowing you to target a specific part for high damage.

  • Units like Fighters and Raiders can trigger linked attacks to deal bonus attacks when near allies, boosting your team’s damage.

Position your units wisely to maximise the advantages of the attacks you are about to execute.

Action Points

Each unit has a specific amount of Action Points (AP) to use for moving, attacking, or utilizing abilities during their turn. More powerful abilities that deal higher damage consume more AP, so it's important to manage them wisely to enhance your performance in battles.

Action Points

For example, search for lower HP body parts by looking at the threat indicator line and use your most powerful ability with higher damage to defeat them quickly.

There are different game modes available for you to enjoy Mecharashi gameplay with your STs and Pilots. Here are some of the game modes:
